Well this week has been interesting … The stair mill 2 times a day seems to be putting weight on me but not in a bad way(my bum feels like marble right now its looking good my friends 😉 ) I’m up 2 lbs but down one percent body fat . Its crazy when you get older how the muscles seem to mature. While training at a young age for my first show when I started to lose fat my muscle seemed to go with it .
I am learning more what to do and what not to do. I’m excited about my tummy right now . I woke up extremely lean this morning and my oblique’s are starting to pop J I did have a full cheat meal on Sunday and honestly you could not whipe the smile off my face for at least 2 hours . Its amazing what food can do for the mood . I have had a few questions to my email about why it is important to eat often .
Eating often boosts metabolism
Sounds funny but it’s true. The actual process of breaking down food burns up calories. So if you eat several meals throughout the day, you’ll burn up more calories through the digestion process.
Now of course this doesn’t mean eat more of the “bad stuff” – this would be foods high in fat and calories. When I say “eat more” that means meals that consist of sensible foods high in fiber and protein. It’s okay to treat yourself every now and then, just don’t over do it. So with that said I know a lot of the excuses is im busy I don’t have time … My advice wake up 20 minutes early make your meals for the day and pack them with you. Yes it is a pain but this is for health and happiness …I read some crazy statistics on heart health and now more then ever it is important to stay healthy for ourselves and loved ones J Thanks everybody for reading you don’t know what it means to me to share with you my journey … I am extremely blessed to do what I love and I don’t want to take one second for granted .
