I typically try to follow some sort of format when I blog and write articles. This one’s going to be different. I have a lot to say on multiple different topics and I’m not to sure where to start. So I’m just going to give it to you in the raw truth, we cool?
A hot topic that’s for sure, it seems like the longer you’re in the bodybuilding field the more you realize that the only people that worry about losing muscle when they diet is the people that spend money on expensive supplements and hype. I’ve talked to more than a few IFBB and natural male and female pros and none of them have that as this big concern.
Sure, every single one of them does not want to give up their hard earned muscle when they diet but they don’t assume that they’ll magically shrink up when they drop their calories either.
How do I lose fat? The voice that said that was ringing in my ear. It repeated “how do I lose fat, I want to know how to lose fat”? I couldn’t stand it anymore so I turned around and saw this 30 year old guy standing behind me in the gym. Normally I wouldn’t be too happy about my workout getting interrupted by someone. As a matter of fact I’m in the gym to lose fat to so let me work out. Something was different about that day though. I decided to give this guy some information to help him. Here’s what I told him about how to lose fat.
A quick five minute search on any popular bodybuilding message board will find various threads and topics dedicate to bodybuilding contest diets and how to design them. After all, physique training is, by nature, an extreme sport. There is a bunch of conflicting information available and at the end of the day, the reader is left with more questions then answers.
Everyone wants to be lean. I caught you! You wouldn’t be on this site if you didn’t want to lose some bodyfat an build some muscle, would you? Listen, you don’t have to want to be the next big underwear model turned rapper turned actor.
