This is extremely cutting edge stuff….
Brown fat has been found in humans (not just babies and animals like we had previously thought).

I typically try to follow some sort of format when I blog and write articles. This one’s going to be different. I have a lot to say on multiple different topics and I’m not to sure where to start. So I’m just going to give it to you in the raw truth, we cool?
To lose fat, you need to eat less and burn more. We all know that. At the end of the day, that’s what it comes down to. Everyone online wants to get fancy and complex. Create a caloric deficit and you’ll lose fat.
You know, I feel like a broken record. I’ve been seeing a ton of diets lately that just flat out stink and they stink for a reason. Do you know why?
In this addition of the Jimmy Smith Training podcast we’ll talk with natural pro bodybuilder Tyler English.
With all of the different diet and nutrition methods floating around in books and magazines and online, it’s easy for one to get confused about just what diet they should use and it’s understandable that most people want to “just diet”. The one thing that none of these diets take into account is the individual. Now I understand that no one can personalize a diet unless they work with you one on one so all of those authors that scream “personalize the diet to the person” need to stop stressing their vocal cords. It’s just impossible. Sadly though, most people jump right into a diet for results but jump over the start-up phase, which could potentially provide the biggest gains.
You know, sometimes when I’m searching online I come across the craziest things. I mean some of the stuff is just nuts so I think we need to step back from asking how we burn fat to learning how we store fat. Once we know that then we can better design our diets and understand why we may not be losing fat.
I had the oppurtinity to sit down with model Brandi Roach and get into her head about modeling, training and how she got started in the biz.
A quick five minute search on any popular bodybuilding message board will find various threads and topics dedicate to bodybuilding contest diets and how to design them. After all, physique training is, by nature, an extreme sport. There is a bunch of conflicting information available and at the end of the day, the reader is left with more questions then answers.
Bodybuilding and protein go hand-in-hand. Think about it, have you ever known someone that eats a ton of protein that isn’t into bodybuilding or hardcore athletics? Not really, I know that I haven’t. The problem is that protein and bodybuilders get a bad wrap but at the same time why are bodybuilders so in love with protein?
