Ava Cowan has literally come out of no where in the fitness industry lately. For most people, she’s a new face after signing with Gaspari nutrition and being the lead face in their marketing machine. I’ve known of her for awhile though and have seen her change her body from a far. The biggest question that she gets, I’m assuming, is “what’s ava cowan’s leg workout”?

Well this week has been interesting … The stair mill 2 times a day seems to be putting weight on me but not in a bad way(my bum feels like marble right now its looking good my friends
) I’m up 2 lbs but down one percent body fat . Its crazy when you get older how the muscles seem to mature. While training at a young age for my first show when I started to lose fat my muscle seemed to go with it .

On this week’s edition of the Jimmy Smith Training podcast, we set the record straight on carbohydrates and there place when one wants to lose fat. They aren’t as bad as people make them out to be (as exposed in our bodybuilding truthes article) and can actually aid in burning body fat at a higher rate.
