Been tweeting and facebooking with fitness model Emily Zaler for the past few months. Figured we might as well pin her down (hey now, this is a G rated site) and get her to answer some questions on how she transformed herself.

Top 10 lists are clichéd and overdone. A Top list would probably be too overwhelming, and too much to remember. So I figured I’d write a nice, concise Top 11 list of ways to lose lower ab fat. I bet if you start with only 3-5 of these (assuming you’re not doing them already), you’ll see immediate changes right off the bat. Then, start incorporating more into your daily life as the previous ones get easier and more habitual.

I want to introduce everyone to Lacey Lynn. She’s a trainer, fitness coach, competitor and fitness model. I came across some of her pictures online when I mistaked her for Jamie Eason. So I decided to interview her for an episode of my fitness podcast, which will air next week. After talking to Lacey on the phone a few times I came to the conclusion that she has a lot to offer both men and women. So I asked her if she’s blog her diet and training once per week as she prepares for the Arnold Classic Bikini contest and a national NPC qualifier in figure.

A hot topic that’s for sure, it seems like the longer you’re in the bodybuilding field the more you realize that the only people that worry about losing muscle when they diet is the people that spend money on expensive supplements and hype. I’ve talked to more than a few IFBB and natural male and female pros and none of them have that as this big concern.
Sure, every single one of them does not want to give up their hard earned muscle when they diet but they don’t assume that they’ll magically shrink up when they drop their calories either.

How do I lose fat? The voice that said that was ringing in my ear. It repeated “how do I lose fat, I want to know how to lose fat”? I couldn’t stand it anymore so I turned around and saw this 30 year old guy standing behind me in the gym. Normally I wouldn’t be too happy about my workout getting interrupted by someone. As a matter of fact I’m in the gym to lose fat to so let me work out. Something was different about that day though. I decided to give this guy some information to help him. Here’s what I told him about how to lose fat.

The bench press, the ultimate chest training piece of equipment or so that’s what we’re told as teenagers growing up. It continues through high school and college too, everyone wants to know how much you bench press. It would be cool to answer that question but why bother? Why care about how much you bench press? A big bench press just means you can bench press a lot of weight, it doesn’t equal a big chest.
