If I’m trying to build muscle & burn fat at 180, should I still be looking at 3100+ calories daily or cut back a few hundred in the wheat/grain department? Here’s my muscle building nutrition answer
Focus on one goal, it’s easier than people think to build muscle and stay lean. You just can’t build muscle and burn fat. If you’re goal is more definition then focus on fat loss as it’ll make your muscles seem bigger because you’ll lose intramuscle fat.
You can cut back on the grain and you’ll feel leaner but your energy and training intensity will suffer. If fat loss is your goal, go after it!
